One of my goals is to provide custom training to my colleagues in service to the young Church. If you are looking for a speaker for a gathering of adults or young people I would be honored if you would consider me. Whenever I am called on to speak I do my best to create a custom presentation that addresses the needs of the group I am working with, and I am more than willing to work with you to create an affordable and effective training experience.
Here are just a few of the topics I would be willing to address (feel free to contact me with other ideas):
For Adults
- Pray Who You Are: Creating Innovative Liturgical Prayer Experiences Using Traditional Sources
- Bridging the Gap: The lurking danger of the growing chasm between liberalism and conservativism in the Church today
- Making the Most of Technology in Ministry: Ways to take advantage of what’s available, and tips for making sure you’re the one controlling it – not the other way around.
- Relational Youth Ministry
- Renewing the Vision for Beginners
- Renewing the Vision: a Refresher
- Creating Evidence Based Portfolios Using the National Standards for Lay Ecclesial Ministers
- Group Processing and Facilitation
- Six Books You Know You Ought to Have Read: Using “Renewing the Vision,” “The National Study of Youth and Religion--Analysis of the Population of Catholic Teenagers and Their Parents,” “Effective Practices for Dynamic Youth Ministry,” “Co-Workers in the Vineyard of the Lord,” “The National Directory for Catechesis,” and the “National Standards for Lay Ecclesial Ministers,” and using them well.
